Louisiana Driver Goes Through Freshly Poured Concrete
(Lake Charles, Louisiana) - One driver in South Louisiana may want a car wash for Christmas after they drove through freshly poured concrete.
A viral photo on social media shows the aftermath of a driver going through concrete that was just poured in Lake Charles, and it is a mess.
You can see the white car bogged down in the concrete, and we can't imagine what construction workers were thinking as this driver went through the freshly poured concrete.
Now, we don't know what may have caused this driver to enter this part of the road that was under construction, but you can see the orange construction cones placed where work was happening.
Someone on social media said they thought the cones were too far apart in the construction zone, which may have led the driver to enter the portion of the road that was closed at the time.
Whatever the case may be, this was still a mess for this drriver and this only added more work for those working on the road at this time. The viral social media post did not report any injuries in this mishap, and that is the most important thing.
Safety Tips For Driving Through Construction Zones
Remember, when you are driving through a construction zone, you should always keep your eyes on the road and watch out for those working in the designated area. Plus, it is against the law in Louisiana to be on any device while operating a motor vehicle.
Eliminating distractions is vital when driving through construction zones because there may be signs directing you as you navigate areas under construction, and we would never wish what you're about to see on anyone.
