Louisiana Woman Selling Mausoleum Crypt on Social Media
(KTDY) - We have all seen some random things go up for sale on various social media pages, but I can't recall ever seeing a crypt go on the market, until now.
Often, people invest in various things and later find they no longer need what they bought, and that appears to be the case here. A woman has posted on multiple public pages that she is selling an unused mausoleum crypt, and it's not because she thinks she is immortal, but because she and someone else have apparently relocated and perhaps found a forever home elsewhere.
Look, we have all seen some random things for sale on Facebook, but I can't recall seeing a mausoleum crypt for sale. The space is located in a St. Martinville cemetery, and according to the post, it has never been "occupied."
Not only is the seller trying to sell something she will no longer need in the future, but she is also giving someone else a chance to plan ahead and perhaps do so at a reduced price.
As odd as this may look on social media, I woulld have to look three or four times if I were walking through this cemetery and saw this "For Sale" sign on the exterior wall of this mausoleum.
In any case, here's the social media post that has undoubtedly caught the attention of some on Facebook
