Portion of Joli Road To Close For Two Days

If you use Joli Road to get where you are going, you will need to use a detour route this Thursday and Friday.

The whole road is not going to close, but a press release from the Lafayette Director of Public Works, Chad Nepveaux, points out that the section of Joli between Mardi Gras Road and Cankton Road will be closed.

Nepveaux says that Barriere Construction is the company in charge of the project. They will be closing the road for two days this week for some improvements to some drainage in that area which is part of an ongoing resurfacing of that roadway.

The road closures start at 7 o'clock in the morning, Thursday, June 18, and the roadwork will wrap up at 5 o'clock in the evening this Friday, June 19.

Local access to things in that area will be available along with detours if you prefer.
