Please Help CJ Win $500 For The Leukemia/Lymphoma Society

I'd like to win $500.00 for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society of Louisiana but I can't do it without your help.  Please vote for me (CJ), if I get the most votes, I'll be able to donate the money to charity.

The Leukemia/Lymphoma Society is very dear to my heart.  As many of you know, my daughter Brittni was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2016.  My family received so much help from the wonderful people of Acadiana, people around the world and local organizations like the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.  I don't know how we would have made it without the help.  Cancer is very difficult emotionally and the financial burden is overwhelming.

I know $500.00 doesn't seem like much, but I know first hand, $500.00 when your family has medical bills nearing 2 million dollars like ours, can help tremendously.  My family has excellent insurance but there is so much insurance didn't and continues to not pay.  At one point I thought I'd have to claim bankruptcy.  But because of the incredibly caring people of Acadiana and organizations like the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, we made it through the most difficult time of our lives.

Since 2016, I made a promise to give back to Acadiana families who have been targeted by cancer.  I get hundreds of requests a year from families who have been devastated by cancer and although it is impossible for me to help everyone, I do try my best to do what I can as I know first had how difficult cancer is on a family.
