New Louisiana Job Site

In an effort to aid Louisiana residents who are seeking employment, the state has created a new website to help. Gov. Jindal says the Louisiana Job Connection will open to job-seekers on Aug. 18. Starting June 13, employers will be able to post openings.

Stephen Moret, Louisiana Economic Development Secretary Stephen Moret explained that employers will only see profiles of job seekers who have the skills they want and that recruiters will be able to control the parameters of their searches.
