Nationwide Recall of DiGiorno Pizza
Better call delivery tonight, 'cause DiGiorno pizza is recalling nearly 28,000 pounds of frozen pizzas. Seems DiGiorno has a bit of a labeling problem.
Nestle USA Inc. is recalling tons of pizza after a customer found a three-meat pizza inside a box labeled Pepperoni Pizza. The company claims an ingredient in Three-Meat Pizza, known to cause allergies, is NOT stated on the Pepperoni Pizza box.
The allergen is a textured soy protein. Anyone with an allergy to soy should avoid eating GiGiorno's Three-Meat Pizza (which may be in a box labeled Pepperoni Pizza).

Even though there have been no reported adverse reactions to date, the USDA recommends you throw out any Three-Meat Pizza found in a Pepperoni Pizza box. However, if you have no known allergies to soy, the pizza is probably not a threat to your health.
If you have this pizza in your freezer, the USDA recommends you throw it out or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
