My Coronavirus Experience: Day 2
I had COVID-19. I am 99% certain of where and when I contracted the virus (with the help of contact tracers; more on that later). I had ups and downs while the virus ran its course (mostly downs). I lost my appetite. I lost weight. I lost "friends". Here is my story.
DAY 2: So it was "yesterday" that I came in contact with someone who was carrying the coronavirus. Today, I had my first symptom.
I have been working from home since the end of February. "Today's" date is June 29.
I had just finished lunch and I was sitting at my laptop working when I noticed that it was getting warm in the house. I got up to check the thermostat, and it was right where it is programmed to be in the middle of the day while I am home: 76. Then I realized that the ceiling fan was off in the room in which I was working, so I turned on the fan, wiped the sweat from my brow, continued working, and thought no more of it.
The rest of that day was normal, with no symptoms.
