A movie filmed and set in Lafayette is now available to watch on Netflix.

A Sort of Homecoming is a drama shot and set in Lafayette and released in 2015. The movie centers around the character of Amy Hartington as she's forced to return to her hometown of Lafayette years after moving to New York City. Flashbacks explore Amy's senior year, her participation in debate competitions and her relationship with her debate partner, Nick. A Sort of Homecoming was written by Lafayette - native Lynn Reed, who was active in debate in high school as a student at St. Thomas More. The film was partially shot in Lafayette, including flashback high school scenes filmed at NP Moss.
