According to NOLA.com, it was a shipbuilder who had it designed and built in the early 1900s. Judging by its list price, the home has stood the test of time. And, judging by the $10.3 million asking price, it just may be the most expensive home in the French Quarter!
Some of the features include a widow's walk (with a great view), one of the largest private courtyards in the Quarter, tall shuttered windows, wrap-around balcony, pool, two-story guest house, and potential to hold the envy of any property owner within 100 square blocks!
Two fireplaces, a muraled dining room, billiard room, an 1100-bottle wine room, and a spiral-staircased widow's walk which overlooks the courtyard and the city don't even come close to rounding out all of the amenities of this home.
