Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley Will Co-Host the 2017 ACM Awards
During the 2017 Grammy Awards on Sunday night (Feb. 12), a commercial let country music fans know that Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley will once again be co-hosting the 2017 ACM Awards.
Bentley made his ACMs co-hosting debut in 2016, after Blake Shelton stepped down from the gig. He was able to shake off any nerves during the opening monologue -- and Bryan, who is going on his fifth year of co-hosting in 2017, made sure that everything stayed on track. The duo's monologue focused on Chris Stapleton‘s fast ascent to the top of the country music pyramid -- and who knows what fresh blood they'll seek out this year.
Before the 2016 ACM Awards, Bentley admitted that he felt "uncomfortable" and "uneasy" with hosting the awards ceremony ... which was the exact reason that he said yes to the gig. He called his new role something that would be a "challenge," but one that he was up for.
Other former ACM co-hosts include Reba McEntire, Brooks & Dunn and Vince Gill.
The 2017 ACM Awards are set to take place in Las Vegas, Nev., on April 2, and air live on CBS beginning at 8PM ET. For the first time ever, the show will take place at T-Mobile Arena.
