LSU Fan Arrested After Running on Field at Tiger Stadium Saturday Night
Why do fans still do this?
An LSU fan was arrested and taken off of the field Saturday night in handcuffs after he ran on the playing field in Baton Rouge, La.
The LSU Tigers were hosting the Auburn Tigers Saturday night on national television when this incident occurred.
As you will see below, the fan did make his way onto the field, but once he got moving he didn't get very far.
The fan on the field at Tiger Stadium slipped on the playing surface, we assume he didn't have cleats on, and police were soon able to tackle him as soon as the "turf monster" took him down.
You can hear the roar from the crowd as soon as police tackle him, then the applause as he is hauled off in handcuffs.
Who knows why he ran on the field, perhaps he lost a bet, or perhaps the day drinking on campus caught up to him, but in any case, it was a poor decision to leap over the fence that surrounds the field and run onto it during the game.
Here's the action from Tiger Stadium on Saturday night, and yes, LSU did blowout Auburn to move to 5-2 on the season.
