Local Dentist Office ‘Buying Back’ Halloween Candy for the Troops

Barras Family Dentistry is giving back in a big way this Halloween. For the 4th year, they are sponsoring 'Operation Gratitude' to send treats to our troops overseas. Just bring in your excess Halloween candy from November 1-7 to their office at 1700 Kaliste Saloom Road, Bldg. 4, in Lafayette. Collection times are 8:00 am to 4:20 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm. They will buy your excess Halloween candy for $1.00 a pound, up to $5.00 per child/adult. And the best part is, donations are going straight to our men and women serving our country overseas. Everyone is welcome to participate, and even if you didn't trick or treat, you can still make a donation during collection times.
