Lafayette Little League World Series Bound!
Congratulations to the Lafayette Little League Baseball team on winning the Southwest Regional Finals! They came back tonight, against Texas East, from a 4-run deficit in the 6th inning to send the game to extra innings, then won it in the 7th inning on a Cain Castille hit. Final score: 8-7.
Next stop, the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA! They will play Thursday, August 18 at 7pm against the winner of the Southeast Regional. Go team!
