Lady Spartan Soccer Team Holds Sporting Clay Shoot Fundraiser

Lady Spartan Soccer Team won't be able to participate in tournaments throughout the season without your contributions, which provide the players with equipment, travel assistance, entry fees, umpires, and field fees.

Meet the Comeaux High School Lady Spartan Soccer Team. Soccer provides student-athletes with life - long lessons in sportsmanship, teamwork, perseverance, responsibility, loyalty, discipline, dedication, and commitment. While learning the fundamentals of the game they will build physical strength, and stamina, as well as self-esteem, and character - which will not only benefit the team today, but will help them grow into productive adults.

But the Lady Spartans won't have a successful season without your help. The team is hosting a Clay Sport Shooting Event on August 17 at Wilderness Gun Club. Registration time is 8am (for a 9am start), is $400 per team (4-person teams, men or women), and includes refreshments. There will also be Mulligans (available for $10 each, limit of 2), 30-Shot Flurry ($20), door prizes and a 50/50 raffle.

NOTES FOR REGISTRANTS:

Bring your own ammunition (2 ¾, 1 1/8 oz, max – 7 ½, 8 or 9 shot only); Bring your own safety glasses and ear protection; You are welcome to bring your own transportation, i.e. golf cart, mule, gator, rhino type vehicle only – NO ATV / FOUR WHEELERS; Cart rentals are available; however no reservations are allowed. They have 5 and will be available the day of the shoot. They are first-come, first-serve. Cart rentals are $100 a day.
