Jindal Orders Flags To Half Staff in Memory Of DC Shooting Victims
Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal has ordered that flags at all Louisiana state buildings be flown at half-staff until sunset Friday. Jindal issued the order Tuesday in memory of the victims of the Washington, DC Navy Yard shootings.
Thirty-Four-year-old Aaron Alexis opened fire at the navy yard Monday afternoon, killing 12 people. Alexis perished in a subsequent shootout with police.
Governor Jindal called the killings a "senseless attack."
