Louisiana High School Student Stabbed on Campus
A student at Hammond High School was stabbed Monday morning after being involved in an altercation on campus.
WAFB reports that a student was stabbed while fighting with another student in the restroom. The student who sustained the injuries had three small punctures on her, but none of the injuries were life-threatening.
Deputies did find one student in possession of a small foldable “key-knife” and she was taken into custody.
The news stations reports that the student who had the knife will be charged with aggravated second-degree battery.
Authorities did not identify those involved in the fight, nor was the age of the students announced.
