‘jeep jaunt’ JAM! 2019 (PHOTOS, VIDEO)
The Annual 'jeep jaunt' JAM! was held at Sterling Jeep in Opelousas, and hundreds showed up to register for the 14th Annual 'jeep jaunt'. Online registration is now open for the 'jeep jaunt', which will be held October 27th, 2019.
The 'jeep jaunt' is a 35-mile, police-escorted ride from Celebrity Theatres in Broussard to Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel in Charenton, all in efforts of raising funds for the American Lung Association.
The 'jeep jaunt' JAM! is the annual 'jeep jaunt' registration kick-off party with food, music, auction, door prizes, and loads of Jeeps!
This year's JAM! featured entertainment from Todd's DJ Entertainment Services and Quarter Shots Band. Midway through the Quarter Shots Band's performance, they brought Layla Lavergne, the "Lil Cajun Queen" to the stage:
Hundreds of people showed up to enjoy the entertainment and food (David Hotard's JAM!balaya was off the chain, as usual!) and help support the American Lung Association.
We had burgers from NuNu's, hot dogs from Robie's, drinks from Lafayette Coca-Cola, door prizes from Smokey Hebert's Snap-On Tools and Budweiser/Schilling Distributors.
Bouncin' Bengal Fun Jumps had some inflatables there for the kids to get in and play, and Sterling Jeep had some beautiful brand-new Jeeps on display for the big kids to get in a play!
Artist Adrian Fulton was at the event painting a spare tire cover that was auctioned at the end of the event.
Since its inception, AJRF's 'jeep jaunt' had helped the American Lung Association continue its mission of eradicating lung disease by raising more than $600,000 for the organization. This would not be possible without the generosity of the good people of Acadiana! Thank you for your support and your donations/participation.
