St. Martin Parish Schools to Dismiss Early on Friday, May 3

All schools in the St. Martin Parish School District will be dismissing early on Friday, May 3, 2024.

Wait, surely it's not because of any impending weather? That's simply too far out to tell.

Of course, it is. Schools are closing early for a different reason.

The early closure is due to the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival, which technically runs Friday through Sunday. (Even though the carnival and rides are open starting Wednesday.)

Dismissal is scheduled for noon this Friday, May 3.
