I have personally received three text messages this week from unknown numbers alleging I need to address an urgent matter by clicking the link provided.

Never click a link from an unknown sender, even if they claim to be UPS or Amazon. Most times, you can copy and paste the text or email into Google, and you find out more information on whether it really is a scam, and most of the time, it is an attempt at phishing for your sensitive information.
