Remember this, when you die, people will remember you for the way you made them feel.  Trust me, no one will remember that power point presentation you gave in 2012.  I have a friend who is an expert at making people feel special and I'd like to share something she wrote with you.

Gwen Goulas, originally from New Iberia, recently moved to Arizona but still keeps in touch with my family and me.  She listened to me on the air for many years but we had never met, not until my daughter Brittni became ill in 2016.

The entire time Brittni lay in bed at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, it seemed like there was something inspiring and sweet in the mail from Gwen everyday.  The gifts, the cards, she must have spent a fortune on my family.

Since 2016, we have become very close with Ms. Goulas.  We've been out to dinner, she's been over to my house in Judice, La., and even showed up to the airport in Phoenix to visit with us while we were on a family vacation last year.

Gwen has a way of making you feel like YOU are the only person on earth.  She is one of the most giving people I know.  She'll give you her last dollar and go find more if you need more.  Gwen will exhaust herself making sure YOUR batteries are charged.  She is a gift.

For Valentine's Day this year, Ms. Goulas sent me a card.  She wrote something in the card that I'd like to share with you.
