New Iberia Fire Department To Hold Benefit For Firefighter

The New Iberia Fire Department is holding a fundraiser to benefit a firefighter who works for Iberia Parish.

A red beans and rice plate lunch fundraiser will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 to support Seth Champagne, an Iberia Parish Fire District employee.

Champagne was recently diagnosed with Leukemia and is undergoing treatment. All funds raised will go directly to his family.

A $7 donation gets you a delicious lunch (or save it for dinner!) of red beans and rice with sausage, coleslaw and cornbread. The plate lunches can be picked up between 10:30 AM and 2 PM at the New Iberia Central Fire Station, 560 Charles Street in New Iberia. Delivery is also available for large orders (20 or more dinners).
