"I wish I hadn't worked so hard" among top regrets of the dying.  Bronnie Ware, an Australian nurse who spent several years working in palliative care, has documented regrets of patients in her care the last 12 weeks of their lives.

Heaven forbid, but if you were told you had only 12 weeks to live, what would be your biggest regret?  Think about it.  Really think about it.  The first thing to pops into your mind is probably the thing that's consumed you the most.  Has it robbed you of happiness?  Has it kept you from your family?  Has it hurt you?  Has it hurt others?

You see, you have time to change.  Chances are, you have many more weeks on this Earth, so don't waste a minute.  If the job is consuming most of your time, find a way to break away.  If you are doing things to your body that hurt you and those around you, get help to stop.  If you spent your life not expressing your feelings, open a window and scream to the world your inner feelings.

Life is too short to be unhappy, to hurt, to put family second or third...embrace the things that matter starting today!
