Yes, This IS a true story!!......When I was growing up, my parents both had jobs outside the home, and were raising a family of five children. Needless to say, Mom wasn't June Cleaver. This led to a division of labor at the Wiley house. One weekend my mother was out of town & left instructions for various family members to perform a number of household tasks. Dad did the laundry....... He did a load of white underwear, beloning to my two older brothers & me and included a red blanket!!......

This motivated me to seek instruction... (From MOM).... on how to do my own laundry. I was in sixth grade at the time, and I've  done my own laundry ever since!  I've become very proficient at it. I wash black items only with other black items, in cold water & turn 'em inside-out. If I can't get a stain out, nobody can. When I was married I didn't  allow my wife to do my laundry, preferring to do it myself.  Here are some tips from the folks at Yahoo Shine.
