How to Properly Set a Modern Table

After being on the CJ and Debbie Ray Sail Away and enjoying the fine service in the dining room onboard, I appreciate the art of setting a beautiful table. Especially when a lot of my meals in Lafayette are eaten on the run with a plastic fork!  I saw a formal place setting diagram circulating on facebook a couple of days ago and it got me thinking... who really sets a table like that these days? A formal table service includes five wine glasses. As they say on ESPN, "Come on, man!" So I started searching for how to set a modern informal table. Found it on The Classy Woman website.
