High School Robotics Team Inspired By Leg Lamp From ‘A Christmas Story’ [VIDEO]

I thought you'd get a 'kick' out of the 'A Christmas Story'-inspired robot a high school robotics team from Arkansas entered in the Red Stick Rumble Saturday in Baton Rouge. I didn't see the crate it came in, but I bet it was labeled 'FRAGILE.'

The event is a lead-up to the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) competition in which high school teams accept a challenge to build and operate a robot and compete in tournaments held around the world, naming a world champion in April St. Louis, Missouri. The Acadiana area will be represented by several teams again in the 2015 contests, beginning with the FRC Bayou Regional in March in Kenner.
