I'm a huge fan of horror movies, and watching them is probably my second-favorite way to celebrate the Halloween season after wearing a costume and stealing (inspecting!) my children's candy.

AMC has come through each year with a great lineup of horror movies, and this year is no different. What began as MonsterFest years ago with classic black and white horror movies now includes a few of those and many of the modern classics like Halloween, Friday The 13th, Nightmare On Elm Street, and many more.

FearFest launches early this year to celebrate it's 20th anniversary with the 8 AM showing of Halloween on Thursday, October 13th. Some of the movies included this year are:

Halloween - Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers

Friday The 13th - Jason X (all 10 movies!)

A Nightmare On Elm Street - A Nightmare On Elm Street 5: The Dream Child

Other movies include various Chucky installments, Fright Night, The Omen, the Alien films, the remake of Night of The Living Dead, The Exorcist, Stephen King movies, and more. Over 80 horror movies make up this year's FearFest!

AMC will also be showing previous episodes of The Walking Dead this weekend as a buildup to Sunday night's 7th season premiere.
