A mother is outraged after she says she put a sweet note in her 5-year-old's lunch and the daycare sent it back telling her to put her "child on a diet and go away".

The Kingwood, TX mother says her son has been attending Rocking Horse Day Care for the past three years without incident.

According to kalb.com this past Tuesday she made some dietary changes to her son's lunch and sent a note to the daycare staff asking to “Please tell my son that his mommy loves him so much and that I’m thinking about him.”

She claims that she got the note back, and someone at the daycare wrote “No! Put him on a diet and go away.”

The mother tells KTRK/CNN -

"The thing that upset me the most is this is bullying. To know a grown-up, who knows how hard life is and how mean people can be, can say something like that, especially about a child, is - they’re sick. There’s something wrong.”
