Acadiana's Bryson Bernard, known to the world as Cupid, has a new song and Acadiana is lovin' it already. Titled, "Crawfish", the rest of the world may not get it, but folks here in south Louisiana will.

In February of 2007, Asylum Atlantic released Cupid's "Cupid Shuffle" which gave the planet a new dance craze and Cupid the 66th most popular song of the year according to the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

"Crawfish" is the singer-songwriter's newest regional track. Released about a week ago to local DJs, the song is already gaining traction with local radio airplay. "Crawfish" will officially be released to the public on January 18, 2021.

"Crawfish" has all the makings of a "Cupid Shuffle". With lyrics like, "We gonna suck the head on them crawfish and we gonna eat the tail on them crawfish" this song might just become Acadiana's crawfish anthem.

When Acadiana gets back to having festivals and clubs reopen, there won't be a DJ in town not playing this one. It's only a matter of time before you start hearing "Crawfish" at every wedding reception in town. And you can bet your tail, everybody will be on the dance floor.

Will, there be a dance that comes along with this one, like with "Cupid Shuffle", we'll have to wait and see.

Cupid has called upon MC World and Nebu to help him with this sexy swing-out dance track. If you let your mind wander into the gutter, the song does have a sexual undertone which is actually addressed in the song.

I'm talkin' bout crawfish, so get your mind out the gutter.-Cupid
