CJ’s Daily Message: The Character Of A Person

It has been a beautiful Saturday.  Today I went to a fundraiser in Cankton, Louisiana.  It was gorgeous out in the country today.  I was thinking about how many people who were making donations today and found a great quote from Abigail Van Buren along the same lines.

I don't know about you, but my heart feels better to give than to receive.  Buren says you can get a pretty good portrait of a person's character by noting how they treat people who can't give them anything in return.  Also, the way a person treats people who can't fight back is telling of one's character as well.  Something I'd like to add, the way a person treats animals is also a character barometer.  Protect yourself from a taker.
