Your dignity may not currently have the reputation you'd like it to have.  Rebuilding it to a healthy standard is 100% possible.  You're dignity can be mocked, abused, compromised and even lowered to an all time low, but it can never be taken from you.

You have the power to rebuild and reset your own dignity.  No matter how badly you've destroyed it or how badly your dignity is being badmouthed on the streets, your dignity will be reset when you decide to renew your values.  Renew your standards and values, do a complete reset of your life and watch how quickly your dignity bounces back.  No matter what happened in the past.
