Black Bear Festival Coming To Franklin

The Bayou Teche Black Bear Festival was named "Best New Event" by the Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festivals in 2006. It returns for its 10th annual next weekend, April 11th-13th. The festival is held in the beautiful setting of Franklin, La., in the heart of St. Mary Parish. It's a family friendly event with activities for everyone, boat trips, an obstacle course, horseshoe competition, and more. If it's in south Louisiana, you know there will be great food!
