Angry Birds and Zombie Takeover are free apps right?  Then why are there some angry parents?

Thanks to tricky in-app purchases, kids are running up huge bills playing supposedly free iPhone and iPad games.  While games like Angry Birds and Zombie Takeover can be downloaded for no cost, pop-up messages offering upgrades for a fee often appear while children are playing.  One mother learned this the hard way after her six-year-old son charged more than a thousand bucks playing a game on her iPad!

Even though many apps require a password, kids today are so tech-savvy, they know how to get around the password.

This should be a lesson to all parents to monitor you children's actions and make sure you check your cellular statement closely.
