Enormous Alligator Charges After Girl Scouts Swimming in Texas Lake
It's the last thing you want to see if you're swimming in a lake.
A very large alligator went towards a group of kids swimming in a lake, and now their escape has gone viral.
The Girl Scout troop was swimming at Huntsville State Park during an overnight camping trip when the huge gator charged after them.
There are signs in the area warning swimmers of the potential threat of alligators in the water, still, some take the risk knowing that this could happen.
According to a news report, state officials have removed alligators from this lake before, however, that doesn't stop some from jumping into the water.
You can see that this massive alligator was moving quickly at times toward the group in the water, but all were able to escape without any injuries.
The lake was closed for the rest of the day after this frightening incident.
It is estimated that the alligator that had its eyes set on those in the water was about 12 feet long.
