On a weekend when many are holding BBQ's, there is a massive beef recall around the country.

It would be in your best interest to double check your meat products if you're planning on firing up the grill for the Memorial Day weekend.

Due to E. coli concerns, the USDA has issued a recall of over 62,000 lbs. of beef.

Aurora Packing Company in North Aurora, Illinois packaged the meat on April 19, and sent it out for distribution nationally.

To identify the recalled beef, check the inside of the USDA mark of inspection. The recalled meat will show establishment number “EST. 788”.

Over 40 products are being recalled including cuts of steak, ribeyes, and ribs.

A random sampling discovered the possible contamination. There have been no reported illnesses related to the recall.
