According to reports from TMZ, a second student who survived the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting has taken his own life.

The unidentified 17-year-old was found deceased at his family's home, and authorities have ruled it suicide. The sophomore was a survivor of the 2018 shooting that left 17 dead.

This apparent suicide comes at the heels of another suicide by a survivor. Last week, 19-year-old Sydney Aiello, who had been diagnosed with PTSD and suffered from survivor's guilt, took her own life.

Our thoughts are with the families of the victims and with the entire Coral Springs community.
