Cecelia Miller Young died on Wednesday morning in Crowley. She was 107 years old.

The Iota native was given the grand treatment last year at the Crowley International Rice Festival. She was honored by the organization with a royal horse and buggy ride during the Festival parade in October. While riding, she was presented with yellow roses.

A year prior, for her 106th birthday, she was given the same honorary treatment.

You may remember Mrs. Young from the photo shoot she did where she was decked out in her favorite colors -- pink and yellow.
