U.S. Senator David Vitter's pro-life stance is bringing him to Lafayette on Tuesday.

Vitter, who's running for Louisiana governor next year, will be speaking at the City Club Fleur De Lis Ballroom on Camellia Boulevard at Chers Bebes: Acadiana's Soiree For Life. The pro-life event will be from 7-8 pm.

Earlier in the day, you'll have to chance to meet with Vitter at the Breaux Bridge City Hall Council Chambers for a town hall meeting. That event will happen from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.

“There have been a lot of miscues in Washington lately, and it could use more Louisiana common-sense. I want to hear from folks on some of these big issues - like our border crisis, Obamacare, terror and public health threats, and any other issues they want to discuss, like creating good energy jobs,” Vitter said. “I value everything I learn from these meetings, which is why I’ve made it one of my top priorities to visit every parish every Congress.”
