The fourth annual Mickey Shunick Loop Ride will be held at 6 pm this Thursday, July 25 in Lafayette. The ride begins and ends at Girard Park.

The tragic tale of Mickey Shunick's disappearance and murder in 2012 will be featured on Dateline NBC tonight, January 29, 2013.

Lavergne was sentenced to live the remainder of his life in the Angola State Penitentiary after pleading guilty in court to the two murders.
