Bike Ride In Memory Of Mickey Shunick Set For Thursday, July 6

All are welcome and bikes will be available to rent for those who don't have their own.

Acadiana residents will celebrate the life of Mickey Shunick and the second anniversary of the Mickey Shunick Memorial Bike Loop.

The memorial ride begins at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday at Rotary Point. Those without bicycles of their own will be able to rent one provided they have a valid form of ID.

A shorter route is also planned for families and children who want to participate.

The ride culminates with a celebration at Corner Bar on Johnston Street.
