Step To Stop Violence

The Lafayette Commission on the Needs of Women and Faith House, in an effort to stop the silence of domestic violence and discuss other types of violence like bullying and gun and dating violence, will hold Step To Stop Violence on Saturday, October 18^th at the Heymann Performing Arts Center, beginning at 8 AM.

Thousands of woman and men are murdered each year, and among their number are those closest to us. Step To Stop Violence is an effort to make abused women and men feel loved, protected, and supported. It takes a community to raise a child and a community to protect that child from violence in all stages of its life.
