Kotex Tampon Recall

The Kimberly-Clark Company says an unknown amount of Kotex Natural Balance Security Tampons were stolen and distributed fraudulently. The company says there's a possibility that some may have increased levels of bacteria, imperfect raw materials and the presence of metallic particles, therefore they are being recalled. You can check the list of the lot codes here. Consumers are being advised not to use them and to get in touch with the company to get a refund. There have been no reports of health issues but the company is strongly advising consumers that all products with these lots codes should be considered unsafe and not fit for use. Because the cases have left K-C's authorized supply chain, the company has no knowledge of the product's current condition.
