Komen Conversations are scheduled across Acadiana and anyone is welcome to attend to learn more about Susan G. Komen’s Mission and the Komen Acadiana affiliate and how it impacts local communities.

The local affiliate maintains a small staff to facilitate community education, advocacy and fundraising efforts. Seventy Five percent of all fundraising remains in the local service area to fund local non-profit’s breast health programs and the remaining twenty five percent funds National Research programs aimed at finding cures for breast cancer.

The Komen Conversation events enable Komen Acadiana to educate the community about free or reduced cost preventative services in the area, inform individuals about Komen’s impact local communities, and more.

Louisiana is ranked third highest in the nation for breast cancer mortality. The efforts of thousands is needed to make a difference. Join us and learn more about how You Can BE The Cure!
