July Is Full Of Interesting ‘Holidays.’ Today Is ‘National Nude Day’

Today, July 14tth, is "National Nude Day." I celebrated by being nude in the shower this morning. The origin of this "holiday" is unclear to me. July is loaded with interesting "Holidays." Some of theses commemorative occasions are clearly concocted by one industry association or another as a marketing ploy. "National Ice Cream Day" (July 19th) for instance. I'm not sure who stands to make money from nudity, certainly no apparel manufacturer. Independence day for this year is already in the books. July 15th is "National Gummi Worm Day." The 20th is "National Moon Day," commemorating the first Apollo moon landing in 1969.Media companies will have a banner day, since the moon is consistently among the top 5 internet searches. Here's an interesting one. July 31st is "National Orgasm Day." I guess Loveworks, and that shop on the Breaux Bridge highway will be busy.
