Fun Things to Do in Lafayette This Weekend

Well, it's not really in Lafayette, but THE event of the weekend in Acadiana is the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival. Gates open at 4:30 on Friday and the party lasts all weekend long. Jazz Fest also continues through Sunday in New Orleans.

On Saturday, the March for Babies benefits the March of Dimes. The March begins in the River Ranch Town Square.

Then Sunday, JayCee will emcee  Soundtown, a FREE concert performance and family fun day featuring the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra and Roddie Romero, Chubby Carrier, the Conservatory Chorus, members from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Acadiana music program and other Conservatory students, at Sugar Mill Pond, from 2-6pm.
