90 Year old Florida Man Feeds Homeless, Faces Jail Time

Ninety year old Arnold Abbott may go to jail for feeding the homeless in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Abbott and two pastors were arrested Sunday while feeding homeless persons on a public sidewalk. Rawstory.com reports, Abbott, Mark Sims, and Dwayne Blackand face up to 60 days in jail for violating a recently enacted city ordinance that restricts where food can be distributed to needy persons.  Abbott is the head of an organization called "Love Thy Neighbor."  He has been feeding the homeless for more than 20 years. This isn't Abbott's first brush with city officials. They tried to stop him from feeding people on the beach in 1999. That went to civil court. Abbott won. He intends to go back to the beach on Wednesday.
