4th Annual Free Skin Cancer Screening In Lafayette

The Lafayette Community Health Care Clinic is hosting the 4th Annual Free Skin Cancer Screening from 9:00 am- 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 2. The service is a partnership between local affiliates of the American Academy of Dermatology and The Acadiana Healthy Communities Coalition.

The screening event is open to all ages on a first-come, first-serve basis with no eligibility requirements. Walk-ins are welcome. Entertainment will be provided by CajunNation from 9 - 11 AM.

May is national Skin Cancer/Melanoma Awareness Month. Coalition members participating in this free screening event include the American Cancer Society, Cancer Center of Acadiana, and others affiliated with the Louisiana Cancer Prevention and Control Program. Educational materials and referrals for additional services will be provided to patients who are screened. RSVP by emailing acadianaskin@gmail.com
