Downtown Lafayette will be the site of the 2015 Race for the Cure on Saturday, March 21. Participants are encouraged to register early for the race and join thousands of individuals in their commitment to raising funds in the fight against breast cancer.

The funds raised by Race for the Cure are used locally to educate women about breast health awareness and how to reduce risk factors. Funds are also used to advocate for the continuation of life saving breast health programs for the medically under-served and are also  awarded to local organizations to provide screening, treatment, and treatment support for uninsured women in our community.  Without the community’s support and fundraising efforts, hundreds of women each year would go without needed screening and support.

Register today at www.komenacadiana.org and help make an impact in the Acadiana community.  Your participation can help save a life.  Early registration at a reduced fee is open until February 24.
