World's First Electric Flying Car

On Monday, October 10, the XPeng X2, the world's first electric flying car took flight in Dubai.

We've finally made it to The Jetsons.

The XPeng X2 was an unmanned test, and at least for the foreseeable future, the idea is to keep the electric cars "passenger only".

According to -

"The pilot-less vehicles could one day ferry passengers across town high above congested roadways. But the sector still faces major challenges, including battery life, air traffic control and safety, and infrastructure issues."

XPeng, Incconduct a manned flight test in July of 2021.
