Woman Steals Underwear, Bites Store Employee

Police were called to a TJ Maxx in Rutland, Vermont after a woman allegedly stole $21.50 worth of underwear, then assaulted a store employee. The Rutland Herald reports, 33 year old Candace Alberti kicked, and slapped the store's loss prevention officer, Richard Durham. She allegedly bit his thumb when he grabbed her purse to search it. Arraignment is scheduled for Dec. 14th.
