Why Did Airplanes Make 3 Xs Over The Judice Area This Weekend [PHOTOS]

Midday this Sunday Jets flew high over the Judice/Ridge area leaving 3 Xs in the sky.  These could be seen from all over Acadiana.  Why did this happen?

It was probably almost noon, still in my robe, I made a cup of coffee and took a seat in the back yard before heading out to Festivals Acadiens.  The weather was perfect, mid 70s and the sky crystal clear.  At first I thought I was just catching electrical wires out the corner of my eye, but a closer look reveled something strange.

Jet plane(s) had flown over the area and created 3 Xs with the engines smoke.  It was the weirdest thing looking up and seeing 3 Xs miles wide looking down at me.  This was no accident.  This was a calculated maneuver.

Forgot to talk about it on the air today, but I will tomorrow.  I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation.
